Terms of Service - The Altar TV

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, purchasing airtime, or uploading media for broadcast on the GLC network, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use this platform.

2. Service Description

The Altar is a scheduling and media submission platform for ministries, organizations, and content creators to purchase paid airtime on the GLC broadcast network, including The Altar Channel (42.2) and all affiliated GLC channels.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to purchase airtime. Entities purchasing airtime must have legal authority to enter agreements on behalf of their organization or ministry. By purchasing airtime, you confirm you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration & Security

Airtime purchases require an account. All account information must be accurate and current. Account holders are responsible for all actions taken under their login. The Altar and GLC are not liable for unauthorized access caused by user negligence or poor password protection.

5. Airtime Purchases

All airtime is sold in USD. All purchases are 100% non-refundable and final. No credits, charge reversals, or replacement airtime will be provided for any reason.

6. Media Submission Requirements

All submitted shows must meet the following requirements:

Completed, fully edited, and 100% broadcast-ready at the time of upload
Match the exact runtime of the purchased airtime slot
Properly formatted for television broadcast (final audio mix, final graphics, no placeholders, no unfinished edits)
You will not upload raw, unedited, or unfinished content

The Altar and GLC are not responsible for editing, mixing, fixing, converting, or modifying your media. Any media that is not broadcast-ready may be rejected and not aired.

7. Ownership & Rights Transfer

By uploading media to The Altar for broadcast, you agree that all media becomes the permanent, exclusive property of God's Learning Channel (GLC). You transfer all ownership rights, not just a broadcast license. GLC may use your media anywhere, anytime, on any GLC channel or platform, including:

Terrestrial broadcast, cable/satellite/streaming distribution
The Altar Channel (42.2)
Promotions, fundraising, marketing, trailers, clips, compilations
Social media, website use, and on-demand replay

This transfer is irrevocable, unlimited in duration, and not eligible for financial compensation or royalties.

8. Content Standards

Not Allowed:

Sexual content, nudity, pornography, or explicit themes
Promotion of illegal activity or criminal behavior
Hate speech, threats, or extremist ideology
Substance abuse glorification or alcohol/drug marketing
Graphic gore, shock content, or intentionally disturbing imagery
Financial scams, fraudulent fundraising, or misleading claims
Copyright violations or unlicensed third-party material
Profanity or offensive language

Required:

Content must align with Christian values and public broadcast standards
Content must be safe for family and ministry audiences
All broadcast rights and permissions must be secured before upload

GLC may reject any content for any reason, even if it appears to meet general guidelines.

9. Scheduling & Network Priority

GLC reserves the right to interrupt or override airtime scheduling when required for emergency broadcasting, regulatory compliance, or critical network needs.

10. Payment Disputes

Any attempt to reverse or dispute a payment through chargeback, bank reversal, or payment processor dispute will result in immediate termination of airtime rights, permanent account suspension, and liability for any dispute fees incurred by GLC.

11. Liability Limitations

GLC and The Altar are not liable for:

Loss of revenue, donations, or ministry impact
Costs related to production, travel, staffing, or media creation
Shows not aired due to late uploads, incorrect formatting, Terms violations, non-broadcast-ready media, or network outages outside reasonable control

12. Disclaimers

Airtime is provided "as is." No guarantees are made regarding audience size, donations received, ministry reach, financial return, or broadcast performance.

13. Termination

Accounts may be suspended or terminated if you:

Violate content standards
Attempt fraud or payment reversal
Disrupt the network or platform
Misrepresent ownership, rights, or broadcast clearance

14. Amendments

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the most recent version.

15. Required User Confirmation

Before purchase and upload, users must agree to the following statement:

"I confirm that my show is completed, formatted, and 100% broadcast-ready at the time of upload. I understand that all airtime purchases are non-refundable and final, and that any media I upload becomes the permanent, exclusive property of God's Learning Channel (GLC) and may be used anywhere across the GLC network, including The Altar Channel (42.2), without compensation or limitation."
